In Speed Jungle, Sonic's pursuit of Fang passes through dense vegetation and ropes of ivy, with sudden darkness changing the view of the route. A Sonic-specific act adds a chase to that setting. The changing scenery and stage mechanics give the adventure character without replacing its emphasis on keeping momentum and judging the next jump.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe campaign supports solo play or up to four local players with drop-in, drop-out co-op. Battle Mode offers a separate competitive format in which players control Metal Fighters. A match uses three rounds drawn from events such as Star Snatcher, Survival, Zap Scrap, and Race, giving you more than one kind of contest. Battle Mode supports up to four local players or eight online; the campaign's co-op is local.
