Gravity Circuit 2 is coming to Nintendo Switch 2, and its release window is now spring 2027. Domesticated Ant Games and Dear Villagers announced the platform addition on October 15 alongside a free Steam demo. The full game is also planned for PC through Steam and Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5 and the original Nintendo Switch.
The demo gives the announcement something concrete to try: approximately 30 minutes across two stages, with both Kai and the newly playable Cable available. That is an early opportunity to compare their approaches before choosing a platform for the finished game.
Two characters change how you approach a stage
According to the publisher’s dated announcement, Kai keeps a close-range fighting style. Cable favors ranged attacks and can turn defeated enemies into scrap to use as ammunition. Players select between them before a mission.
The useful demo question is how each character changes your route through the same environment. Try keeping track of the spaces where you want to close a gap, stay airborne or hold your distance. Those observations should be more useful than picking a favorite from appearance alone.
The sequel adds more ways to build a moveset
Booster Chips and Burst Techniques serve as customization tools, while defeating bosses provides Circuit Shards for additional abilities. The official game site lists eight Hunter Circuit bosses, more than a dozen stages and a new headquarters with training rooms and vendors.
For a first demo session, the important distinction is between a character’s basic style and the options layered onto it. A short sample can help you understand that relationship without establishing how the full campaign balances every upgrade.
