Our Holocene heroes return in this action adventure video game set in a thawing wonderland of water parks, geysers and tar pits. As Sprat, the big-hearted but pint-sized sabre-toothed squirrel, you guide Manny the mammoth, Sid the sloth and Diego the sabre-toothed tiger cross the troublesome tundra to safety. Scrat digs, swims, sniffs, spins and rolls in his never-ending quest to collect acorns. In the process, he serves as the unwitting hero in a quest to save the land from a huge flood. Set in a 3-D landscape, Ice Age 2: The Meltdown lets you rotate the camera in all directions by using the C Stick. When you press the Z Button, Scrat will sniff around and point you in the direction you need to go. If he sniffs upward, you can move the game camera to try to see what he's sniffing at. Scrat doesn't have very powerful attacks, but you can use button combos to stun the bad guys and give Scrat more time to run around. You'll need to learn all his special moves to solve some of the puzzles you run across in each level. Check back for more information as the release data approaches.
