Call of Duty: Ghosts
About the Game
Call of Duty: Ghosts is a single-player and multiplayer first-person shooter game. The campaign is set in an alternate near-future timeline in which a powerful alliance of South American nations known as the Federation has risen to global dominance following the collapse of the world’s economy.
Story & Setting
The campaign alternates between different playable characters, offering varied perspectives and mission types.
Gameplay & Core Systems
The United States, once a superpower, has been devastated by orbital strikes that leveled major cities and crippled its infrastructure. Players primarily experience the conflict through the perspective of Logan Walker, a soldier fighting alongside his brother Hesh and their father Elias, a commander of the elite “Ghosts” unit. The Ghosts specialize in stealth, sabotage, and infiltration, and their mission focuses on tracking down Rorke, a former Ghost who has been captured and turned into a weapon against his former comrades. At its core, the gameplay follows the traditional Call of Duty formula of tightly scripted missions, combining on-foot combat, vehicle sequences, and large-scale engagements. Players engage in fast-paced shooting, breach-and-clear operations, underwater stealth sections, and high-altitude combat.
