Kirby: Squeak Squad
About the Game
Kirby is enjoying his picnic until someone snatches his strawberry cake. Suspecting his eternal rival, King Dedede, to be behind the theft once again, Kirby rushes off to get his cake back. Along the way, he meets up with the Squeak Squad, a team of mysterious and infamous thieves. After Kirby defeats Dedede, the Squeaks turn against him and steal Dedede's treasures, believing those will "grant them the ultimate power".
Gameplay & Core Systems
Squeak Squad also includes new features such as interactive environments, allowing players to use copied abilities to pass objects. For example, using the Ice ability on water will freeze it, allowing Kirby to cross, while Spark can create thunder clouds and make electrical currents that run through metal. A new feature, Copy Scrolls, lets players power up Kirby's abilities. players can also swap an acquired ability for another using the stylus to spin a roulette, which will stop on a random ability, including abilities only available through this roulette.
