Tekken 8’s Reina is coming to Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves in December 2026. SNK revealed the crossover fighter on October 10 as the last character in Season 3. Its teaser establishes her arrival, while a precise release day and full moveset remain unannounced.
SNK says Reina’s aggressive Tekken style has been adapted to the REV System. That is the central gameplay question for the next reveal: how much of her identity survives the move into a different fighting system, and which tools change to fit it?

December closes the current roadmap
The announced lineup includes Rick Strowd, Duck King, Kim Kaphwan, Tokyo Revengers guests Mikey and Draken, Laocorn, and Reina. SNK calls her the sixth DLC fighter while listing seven individual characters. Its schedule places Mikey and Draken together in October, Laocorn in November, and Reina in December, subject to change.
Season Pass 3 is listed at $19.99 or €19.99. Players should compare that bundle with their existing edition and account entitlements before buying: a newly announced guest does not, by itself, establish what an older purchase includes.
A reveal is the start of the matchup homework
For a fighting game player, an appealing character design and a useful tournament pick are separate decisions. A short teaser can establish the crossover without answering questions about reach, recovery, movement, pressure or defensive options. Those details need gameplay demonstrations and, eventually, hands-on practice.
The practical watchlist starts with a proper move breakdown. Look for how Reina enters close range, which attacks create follow-up opportunities, and how her offensive choices interact with the REV meter. A familiar animation is not enough to assume a familiar input or the same result on hit and block.
Existing City of the Wolves players can treat December as a planning window. It gives a broad time to expect a new opponent, but it does not justify booking a release-day session yet. Once SNK supplies a date and patch details, the useful follow-up will be what changes for the whole roster as well as what Reina adds.
For Tekken fans following the guest announcement, the next substantial gameplay trailer will be more informative than the crossover name alone. The interesting promise is a character recognizable across two games; the test will be whether her adaptation offers a clear role within City of the Wolves.
