PAYDAY: Aces High is set to launch November 5, 2026. Fast Travel Games’ cooperative heist game is coming to Meta Quest 3 and SteamVR, with the Steam listing now carrying that exact planned date.
The hardware requirement deserves to be near the top: Steam marks it VR Only. This is a VR game in the PAYDAY universe. Before organizing the crew, check the specific storefront and headset setup each person intends to use.
Four people, one job and several opportunities to complicate it
Aces High supports up to four players, and Steam also lists single-player. Fast Travel Games frames the cooperative play around dividing roles, communicating and reacting when a plan changes. That pitch gives the announcement a clear audience: friends who want a job to coordinate together inside VR.
The four named archetypes are Mastermind, Ghost, Technician and Enforcer. The developer also describes mixing weapons, gadgets and skills into your own loadout, so the useful preparation is to compare what your group wants to do rather than assuming a name explains every option.

The equipment matters before and during a heist
The official description lists rifles, SMGs, shotguns and pistols, plus gadgets including grapple and sentry guns. Cash and reputation feed into unlocking skills and equipment. Banks, museums and a penthouse appear in the revenge setup involving business titan Warren Jupiter.
That combination puts the attraction in the planning as much as the shooting: choosing tools, discussing roles and then discovering whether the group can execute its own idea. It is easy to announce that somebody will handle security. Finding out whether that person was listening is the actual team-building exercise.
The developer’s October 19 Steam post confirms November 5 for both Steam and Meta, and says the demo can be played through Monday, October 26. Steam currently offers that demo. Treat that listing as a way to investigate the PC VR version’s controls and requirements before the planned launch; it does not mean the full game has released. The page still labels November 5 as its planned release date.
For the group setup, confirm your headset, platform and copy requirements from the current store pages. Steam lists cross-platform multiplayer, but the material checked here does not establish every supported headset-to-storefront pairing, so we are not promising a specific cross-play combination.
Our coverage of Arizona Sunshine’s third-person return follows a different direction for a VR-associated series. For the broader distinction between playing together in one room and through a service, see our local-multiplayer feature.
