Silksong Physical Editions List November Dates and Separate DLC

Fangamer lists different November shipment dates for Silksong in the US and Europe. Here is what the physical package includes, and why Sea of Sorrow remains separate.

Hollow Knight: Silksong collectors have two November dates to pay attention to. As checked on October 11, 2026, Fangamer's US standard-edition listing says the physical game will not ship until November 10. Its European Nintendo Switch 2 listing gives November 27.

Those are the dates on the respective preorder pages, not a promise that every order will arrive that day. The distinction matters if you are buying a gift, importing a copy or trying to plan around a particular regional release.

This is a boxed-edition update for a game that is already playable. Team Cherry's launch announcement confirms Silksong's digital release; a later physical shipment does not mean Hornet's adventure has been pushed back for everyone.

What the physical edition includes

Fangamer announced physical preorders on May 28, 2026, covering PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox. That announcement also identifies the Nintendo edition as playable on the original Switch.

The current US page lists a 32-page manual and a 9-by-12-inch poster illustrated by Rubén Molina. For the Switch 2 edition, it specifies the Nintendo Switch game together with the Switch 2 Edition upgrade pack. Those details are more useful than simply calling the package a collector's item: they tell you which pieces belong with the copy.

Sea of Sorrow is a separate download

There is one especially useful line in the physical listing: Sea of Sorrow is not included on the game media. Fangamer says the expansion will instead be available as a free download.

Team Cherry's December 2025 expansion announcement describes Sea of Sorrow as a nautical addition with new areas, bosses and tools, planned for 2026. That announcement and the physical-edition listings do not establish a shared release day. November shipping information should not be treated as a DLC countdown.

For preservation-minded buyers, the practical point is straightforward: this package should not be mistaken for an edition with that expansion stored on its disc or card. The listing's DLC statement also does not certify a particular patch version or promise that every future addition will be included. Those are separate questions to check against the final release.

Check the copy, not just the date

Before committing to a physical copy, match the platform, regional listing and included items to the version you actually want. A November 10 notice on the US page does not override the later date on the European page, and neither should be read as a guaranteed doorstep delivery date.

If you intend to keep the package complete, hang onto the manual and poster alongside the case and game. Our guide to complete-in-box and game-and-case copies explains why included paper items matter when describing a used copy. Zypher's take: the useful news is the combination of regional timing and a clear DLC exclusion. Collect the edition because you want the physical package; do not count on a later shipment automatically making it an all-content-on-media edition.
