October's second Game Pass wave has a very recognizable name at the front: Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade arrives October 29. Your backlog has nine days to prepare its objection.
Xbox's October 20 announcement also brings The Séance of Blake Manor on October 27 and Mouthwashing on October 29. These are new additions to the calendar announced today, separate from the earlier October wave.

The four dates and plan listings to notice
| Game | Arrival | Plans listed by Xbox |
|---|---|---|
| The Séance of Blake Manor | October 27 | Ultimate, Premium, PC Game Pass |
| Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade | October 29 | Ultimate, Premium, PC Game Pass |
| Mouthwashing | October 29 | Ultimate, Premium, PC Game Pass |
| Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted | October 29 | Ultimate, PC Game Pass |
Xbox lists cloud, Series X|S and PC for the first three, with an additional handheld-optimization label for Mouthwashing. Replanted is listed for cloud, console and PC. This is a selected shortlist; the official announcement carries the full lineup.
Intergrade is the Midgar chapter
Square Enix's game description identifies Cloud's arrival in Midgar and an additional adventure featuring Yuffie. The combat combines direct action with command-based decisions. The name to check is Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, rather than treating every Final Fantasy VII release as interchangeable.

Our read: a subscription arrival is a useful opportunity to try a specific version of a game you have been considering. It does not answer whether a different sequel, edition or add-on is included. Read the complete title on the install page before making plans around it. The franchise logo has already done its share of the marketing.
Check the leaving list before starting another long game
October 31 departures include Deep Rock Galactic, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Grim Fandango Remastered and Full Throttle Remastered. Xbox's post lists further removals, so check the complete notice if you are midway through something else.
Our practical recommendation is to look at unfinished games before automatically installing the new headline release. Decide what you actually want to finish, then decide what deserves another download. A library getting larger does not somehow make the weekend longer. We have checked.
What to verify on your own account
Confirm the listed plan, the device you intend to use, and the exact game page. A Game Pass announcement describes access through the service; it is a different decision from buying a copy to keep. The date a game joins the catalog is also different from the date the game originally launched.
For the separate console-release news behind one of these additions, see today's CRITICAL REFLEX announcement. We have not played these new Game Pass versions. This is release and subscription planning, with our recommendations distinguished from Xbox's confirmed calendar.
