Drova II: Torn Lands has been announced for PC and consoles. Developer Just2D and publisher Deck13 Spotlight revealed the standalone sequel on October 15, taking the action RPG beyond the events of Drova: Forsaken Kin into a region divided by a vast ravine.
The announcement’s most useful commitment is also one of its simplest: the sequel will keep the series’ approach to exploration without quest markers. Its current Steam page lists the release date as unannounced.
Finding a route, and choosing a side
The new setting follows the freeing of the Divinities and the disappearance of the Dark Fog. That has not settled the world’s problems. Two factions now centre their beliefs around the Bear Mother and the Great Ram, while an unknown danger remains beneath the split in the land.
Just2D says faction choices affect quests and the story’s outcome. The interesting connection is between finding your own way through the landscape and deciding whose account of that landscape to trust. A marker-free map makes that social side of exploration worth watching.

More room to shape a character
The publisher’s reveal describes expanded combat and a somewhat larger open world. Steam adds that the new options include becoming a Combat Druid or Hunter, with weapon and equipment choices helping define a fighting style.
Those are planned options, rather than a claim that one build will be strongest. The announcement also outlines gathering, crafting and trading, giving players activities around the fights as well as new enemies to confront.
