About the Game
Attack on Titan 2, titled A.O.T. 2 in PAL territories, places a player-created Scout inside the events of the anime’s first two seasons. Rather than only observing Eren, Mikasa and the rest of the regiment, the custom soldier trains beside them, builds relationships between missions and takes part in major battles from a new point of view. Character conversations and optional interactions expand life inside the Scouts between expeditions.
Omni-Directional Combat
Battle revolves around omni-directional mobility gear. Anchors attach to buildings, trees or Titans, gas-powered movement builds speed, and a well-timed approach determines the force of a blade strike. Titans must be assessed by size, position and behavior before targeting limbs or the nape. Teammates can be directed to assist, rescue a trapped ally or create an opening, while equipment maintenance and resupply matter during longer missions. Progression improves the protagonist’s abilities, relationships unlock skills and new gear can be developed from gathered materials.
Modes & PAL Edition
Story Mode and Scout Missions provide the core one-player experience without requiring an online connection. Koei Tecmo’s original feature set also included online cooperative missions and competitive team battles, but current network availability has not been independently confirmed; this listing does not promise active matchmaking or server access. The physical listing is identified as the PAL Nintendo Switch edition, so the North American ESRB rating does not establish this copy’s printed regional rating; Quick Specs marks ESRB as not applicable while exact-package regional-rating verification remains pending. Omega Force developed the game and Koei Tecmo Europe published this regional release on March 20, 2018. Joy-Con and the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller are supported, and the game can be played in handheld, tabletop or TV mode.
