The Nintendo DS version of FIFA Soccer 08 is the system's fourth FIFA entry.
Like previous FIFA efforts for the DS, this game allows players to select a preferred football team from a variety of licensed football leagues. The several modes featured in this version include the classic Kick Off, Scenarios (where you can create your own, download from Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection or share with your friends), Penalty Shootout, Training, Tournament and Manager Mode.
Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection allows international players to compete against each other, as well as obtaining and sending Friend Codes to store in a roster.
The DS version also includes Multiplayer (Single and Multi Card) for local players to compete against each other on the football pitch.
