Animal Farms Across Four Regions

My Farm Around the World makes animal care the center of its Nintendo DS farms. Start in America, travel to Africa, then move on to Asia and Australia. Across these regions, the North American package advertises more than 20 animals, including familiar cows alongside hippos, monkeys, kangaroos and crocodiles.

Feeding, Cleaning and the Daily Routine

The work follows the animals' needs: supply food, brush them when they become dirty, clean the farm and sell the produce they provide. Illness brings a need for medicine. It is an animal-raising routine built around keeping the farm going from one day to the next.

Day and night give that routine a rhythm, with the animals sleeping and waking again. A fast-forward control speeds up the passage of time when you want to move through the waiting. You can raise animals for what they produce or fatten them for a later sale.

Use the Market to Grow the Farm

Buy or sell animals at the Farmer's Market to expand your farm and choose what to raise next.

The animals grow from young ones into adults, with growth information helping you follow that change. Building up a working farm opens access to the later regional farms, making expansion and the move to another part of the world part of the progression.

Buildings, Colors and a Cartoon Farm View

Purchased buildings occupy predetermined positions on the farm. The building choices therefore add facilities within a set layout. Animal colors can be unlocked as you play, giving you a way to alter the appearance of the creatures you are raising.

Colorful farm scenes place animals among barns, sandy enclosures and greener surroundings. Lower-screen information panels show animal details and management icons.

Share Customized Animals with a Friend

Send customized animals to a friend through wireless sharing. The package specifies one- or two-player DS multi-card play, requiring one DS system and one Game Card per participant.
