About the Game
SpongeBob's Atlantis SquarePantis is a game starring SpongeBob and friends. The game is based on the television movie of the same name. The game starts with SpongeBob and the gang trying to escape Atlantis when they encounter Plankton in his newly acquired Atlantean tank. The game continues with you taking control of the characters and letting you play through the events preceding this moment.
Gameplay & Core Systems
The gameplay differs each level. In the first level you take control of Plankton and his stolen tank that can fire its ice cream cannon at the Atlantean defenders. SpongeBob and Patrick are trapped in a cave in the second level and have to work together to get out. In the third level SpongeBob has to make photographs in a Museum while throwing Crabby patties at people that are in the way for the picture. The gang travels by buss in the fourth level and you have to hit buttons on the right moment in order to keep the buss fueled to many mistakes will make the buss run out of gas.
Standout Features
- In the fifth level you have to drive the buss to the palace and collect parts for repairs underway.
- King: You are given a tour by the King of Atlantis in the sixed level.
- While posing for an art class in level eight Squidward has to keep his pose by hitting buttons on the right moment.
- Patrick: In the ninth level Patrick has to make photographs in a Atlantean Museum while throwing Crabby patties at people that are in the way for the picture.
- Atlantean: In level ten the gang has to escape from the Atlantean security by using each of the charters abilities to navigate a maze.
- Plankton: In the eleventh level Plankton has to sneak in to the armory.
- While using Squidward as a gun in the twelfth level Sandy has to fire at the Atlantean guards.
- Level thirteen lets you once again take control of Plankton and his tank.
Presentation & Atmosphere
While in the museum Patrick destroyed the world’s oldest bubble.
