Look for a real PS2 catalog

Disc condition matters on PS2
PS2 games are old enough that many surviving copies have years of scratches, storage wear, fingerprints, rental history, or resurfacing history behind them. A seller that inspects and tests used discs can remove a lot of uncertainty from the purchase.
Do not assume every listing includes a manual
PS2 packaging is especially collectible, but used copies vary. A case does not automatically mean a manual is present, and a “complete” listing should be judged by the exact listing details and photos available for that copy or condition.
Compare like-for-like prices
A $10 disc-only copy and a $15 complete copy are not necessarily competing offers. The extra packaging may be worth it to one buyer and irrelevant to another. Decide what you actually want before sorting solely by price.
Shop by franchise when you already know the rabbit hole
