Condition & Contents
Contents and condition are different checks. Choose the right contents, then describe any damage or faults in your notes.
Compare your copy with these options before clicking Add.
| Choose | What You Are Sending |
|---|---|
| Game Only | The authentic disc or cartridge. Original packaging is missing. |
| Game + Case | The authentic game, original matching case or packaging, and original cover art. A required manual or other contents may be missing. |
| Complete | The authentic game and the original required contents, including the manual if the title originally included one. |
Use the exact option offered for that title. Add notes for missing inserts, damaged artwork, missing discs, or anything you are uncertain about. Hardware uses its own Item Only / Complete options.
Complete requires a manual when the title originally included one. A game originally sold without a paper manual is not missing that manual. Check the original contents for your edition and mention uncertainty in the notes.
A digital manual or downloaded file does not replace a paper manual that was originally included.
Describe replacement cases, printed artwork, replacement labels, and missing packaging before shipping. Do not assume replacement materials satisfy an offer for original contents.
The case artwork, disc or cartridge, and selected platform must match the same game and edition. A different game’s case or a different platform’s artwork does not make your copy Complete.
Count every required game disc. Match the exact edition shown in the listing. Mention missing soundtrack discs, maps, original inserts, outer boxes, or other required contents.
A standard edition and a collector’s edition, SteelBook edition, Greatest Hits release, Player’s Choice release, or Limited Run edition may have different contents and offers. If the exact edition is not listed, request a collection review with clear photos.
Disclose known issues even when you have the original contents.
Do not describe a game as working if you have not tested it. Use item notes to say it is untested.
Describe known scratches, past resurfacing, disc-reading failures, or other media problems in the item note. A disc that boots once can still have faults later in the game.
If you have not tested a game, say “untested.” Inspection determines the final value. A listed offer does not guarantee that a damaged or untested copy will receive that value.
Games must be authentic. Counterfeit and reproduction items are not accepted. If you are unsure about a label, cartridge shell, board, disc, or packaging, send clear photos for review before shipping.
A replacement shell or label does not establish authenticity. Explain alterations and provide the exact item details.
For a sealed copy, unusual edition, imported copy, or item without an exact matching offer, use the collection-review form. Include the printed title, platform, region, edition, and photos of the front and back.
Do not assume that another region or edition qualifies for the listed offer. A review request does not guarantee acceptance or a value. Wait for an approved offer and shipping instructions.
Choose the exact model, then check the requirements for its listing.
Remove your accounts, personal files, saved payment details, passwords, passcodes, and parental locks before shipment. Remove any memory cards, storage devices, or games you do not intend to sell.
Do not put login credentials in your notes. Account locks, parental locks, or online bans can affect whether the device matches the offer. Tell Zypher about anything that cannot be removed.
Cleanliness, disclosures, and inspection still matter.
Disclose strong odors, smoke exposure, dirt, contamination, corrosion, or liquid damage. These issues can affect the final value, even if the item appears to function.
Pack only items you intend to sell and protect your original contents from additional damage. Avoid aggressive cleaning or repairs that could damage labels, artwork, electronics, or contacts.
Be specific: “disc untested,” “original manual missing,” “left stick drifts,” “replacement power cable,” or “label has writing.” Describe the fault, which copy it affects, and what is missing.
For different copies of the same game, use separate entries when their contents differ. Keep the quantity and notes accurate so the submitted list matches the shipment.
Authenticity, condition, completeness, cleanliness, and functionality are checked after arrival. Missing contents, an incorrect title or model, media damage, non-working hardware, contamination, or locks can change the approved value.
Items are not returned after inspection, including rejected or zero-value items, unless Zypher approves a return at its discretion and the seller prepays return shipping and any applicable handling fee. Any handling fee will be quoted before the seller agrees to the return. If the seller does not pay the return shipping or applicable handling fee, rejected or zero-value items will not be returned. Resolve questions about an uncertain item before sending it.
