About the Game
The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited is a new release of The Elder Scrolls Online , replacing the previous version entirely. This is also the only version available on consoles. The biggest difference is the removal of the mandatory monthly subscription fee. Additional items can be bought in exchange for crowns in the crown store.
Gameplay & Core Systems
For existing players, crowns were provided according to their remaining subscription days on the old version of the game during the transition. It introduces a justice system where acts are remembered and bounties are provided, new veteran dungeons, Craglorn as a new veteran adventure zone, Dragonstar Arena as a new 4-player survival event, Trials as 12-player veteran challenges, guild trades, various fixes and improvements to game elements, and a new champion system where players with a veteran status start earning champion points that can be invested into new passive abilities.
