Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 (Day One Edition)
Important: Game may not include original DLC, bonus-content, online-pass, season-pass, or other digital redemption codes. Any included codes may have already been redeemed or expired.
Protect Dragon Ball History
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 puts you in the role of a custom Time Patroller charged with repairing altered moments from across the series. Missions revisit familiar battles and locations, but the timeline has been distorted by new interference, so encounters can unfold with unexpected allies, enemies, and power shifts. Conton City serves as the central hub: you can accept story missions and Parallel Quests, visit shops, train with mentors, manage equipment, and meet other players before heading into combat.
Create and Develop Your Own Fighter
Build an original warrior from five playable races—Earthling, Saiyan, Namekian, Majin, or Frieza Race—then shape that character through attributes, equipment, skills, transformations, and Super Souls. Each race has its own strengths and race-specific progression. Famous Dragon Ball characters can act as instructors, letting you learn signature techniques and refine a personalized moveset rather than playing only from a fixed roster. Progress carries across story episodes, optional quests, training, competitive battles, and cooperative challenges, giving the game a role-playing structure around its arena fighting.
Fast 3D Battles and Mission Variety
Combat takes place in large three-dimensional arenas with ground and aerial movement. Fighters combine light and heavy strikes, evasive movement, stamina management, Ki blasts, supers, and ultimates. Positioning matters: vanishes, guards, pursuit attacks, and resource timing can turn a fight even when the opponent has the stronger character. Story missions focus on restoring the timeline, while Parallel Quests add alternate objectives and opportunities to earn equipment and techniques. Training modes provide a place to practice systems and character-specific attacks before taking on more difficult missions.
Solo, Local, and Online Play on PS4
The PlayStation 4 release supports one or two local players and optional online modes for up to six players. Online offerings include head-to-head battles, cooperative missions, and large Raid Battles against powerful enemies. A PlayStation Plus membership is required for online multiplayer, while the core game can be played offline. The current PlayStation listing also identifies optional in-game purchases and Remote Play support. Online services and events can change over time, so availability should be checked through PlayStation before purchase. The PS4 version can run on PlayStation 5 through backward compatibility, although Sony notes that current system software may be required and some PS4 features may be unavailable.
Day One Edition Details
This North American Day One Edition is identified by UPC 722674121019. The original launch offer was associated with digital bonus access to Goku Black and the Tao Pai Pai Stick vehicle. Those bonuses were distributed as redeemable content, not as content guaranteed on every used disc. Treat this listing as the physical PS4 game; any original code should be considered potentially missing, redeemed, or expired. Later expansion packs and other downloadable content are separate unless the selected condition explicitly states otherwise.
