EA Sports Active: NFL Training Camp is a fitness program built around the movements and structure of professional football preparation rather than a conventional season simulation. More than 70 strength, power, conditioning, agility and reaction drills include quarterback, kicking and combine-style activities. Players select an NFL team identity, work alongside licensed players and complete short challenges that turn repetitions into scored exercise sessions.
Follow a structured 60-day plan
The NFL Combine 60-Day Challenge schedules four workout days per week and gradually organizes drills into a longer training goal. Warm-ups and cooldowns frame the sessions, while on-screen heart-rate and calorie information were designed to show effort across a workout. Individual drills, custom sessions and head-to-head activities provide alternatives when the full program is not the right fit.
Original sensors are central to the experience
The original retail system used a Wii Remote together with EA’s Total Body Tracking equipment: wireless motion sensors worn on the arm and leg, an arm-mounted heart-rate monitor and a resistance band. A Wii Balance Board is supported for compatible activities but is not the primary tracking system. These accessories are distinct from the game disc and are not interchangeable with the Nunchuk leg strap from the earlier EA Sports Active release.
Important accessory condition for this listing
Every current Zypher variant is explicitly labeled “No Accessories Included.” Do not expect the original motion sensors, heart-rate monitor, straps, resistance band or Wii Balance Board with this copy. Because the software was designed around the Total Body Tracking hardware, buyers should confirm they already have compatible original equipment before purchase. The product condition and variant title control what is included.
Current service note
The game originally offered an EA Sports Active online hub for sharing workout results. EA’s current service-shutdown record lists the Wii online services for NFL Training Camp as retired before 2013. Local exercise content is the relevant play path today; this listing does not promise web profiles, result sharing or any active network feature.
