Fitness Boxing: Fist of the North Star turns the series' ruined world into a setting for rhythm-based boxing workouts. Kenshiro and other familiar characters become voiced instructors, guiding your movements as cues arrive in time with the music. The appeal comes from matching physical punches to a steady beat while the exaggerated personality of the manga gives each session a different backdrop.

Daily Workout provides a regular exercise routine, while Free Training lets you choose a session outside that schedule. Follow the instructor's directions, watch the approaching cues, and coordinate your punches with the rhythm. These modes also support a second participant on the same system, making it possible to work through a routine alongside a training partner. Continued play earns achievements, and changing an instructor's outfit adds a way to personalize the presentation.

Battle mode turns that exercise into encounters with the wasteland's inhabitants. Outlaw Battles send groups of enemies into your punching sequences, while Boss Battles pit you against prominent rivals such as Raoh. The combat still runs through timed physical actions: punches can counter an enemy's special techniques, and a finishing sequence channels Kenshiro's famous rapid-fire strikes. That structure gives the workout a clear opponent and a theatrical payoff.

The base game's music combines themes associated with Fist of the North Star with original compositions. Alarm reminders help organize repeat sessions, and the option to exclude particular actions lets you adjust routines around movements you find difficult. Joy-Con motion controls are central to play, with workouts displayed in TV or tabletop mode. Nintendo Switch Lite users need connected Joy-Con controllers for this style of play. The result is a fitness routine built around timing, repetition, and the series' larger-than-life martial-arts atmosphere.
