LEGO City Undercover
LEGO City Undercover turns Nintendo Switch into a sprawling, comedy-driven police adventure. You play as Chase McCain, an undercover officer returning to LEGO City after master criminal Rex Fury escapes custody. The story follows Chase through a string of investigations, pursuits, and special assignments as he works to stop Fury’s city-wide crime wave. Its original cast and movie-parody humor give the campaign the breezy tone of a LEGO comedy while keeping the focus on exploration and case work.
LEGO City is an open world built from more than 20 districts. You can follow story missions, search side streets for collectibles, arrest criminals, rescue lost pigs, and investigate odd events ranging from vehicle thefts to alien encounters. Chase’s eight disguises are central to progression: each identity grants different skills, opening routes and interactions that an ordinary officer cannot use. More than 100 drivable vehicles—including cars, motorcycles, and helicopters—make it easy to move between neighborhoods or turn the trip into its own improvised chase.
The Nintendo Switch version supports one or two players on a single system. A second player can join locally for cooperative exploration and missions; online multiplayer is not listed for this release. The game works in TV, tabletop, and handheld modes, so the same open-world campaign can move between docked and portable play. With a structured story, a large collection of optional discoveries, varied disguises, and plenty of slapstick, this edition suits players who want a family-friendly action-adventure with room to roam rather than a level-by-level LEGO adaptation.
