Play the 2006 NFL season with Wii motion controls
Madden NFL 07 brings EA’s licensed football simulation to Nintendo Wii with a control scheme designed specifically for the console. The Wii Remote and Nunchuk translate selected football actions—including passes, kicks and contact moves—into gestures, while buttons and the control stick handle play selection, movement and the rest of the field. It is still a full Madden game beneath that interface: choose real NFL teams, call formations and execute drives rather than playing a collection of motion mini-games.
Create running lanes, then take the ball
The featured lead-blocker system lets you take control of a blocker during a called running play, create an opening and then switch back to the ball carrier. Jukes, spins and power moves expand the ground game once the runner reaches the hole. Passing, kicking and defensive play use the Wii controls in different ways, giving each phase of a possession its own physical rhythm without removing the tactical choice of plays and personnel.
Build a franchise or follow one player
Franchise play puts roster building, drafting, play calling and multiple seasons around the on-field games. Superstar mode narrows the view to a created player and follows that athlete from the draft through a professional career. Quick games provide a faster route when you want one matchup without the management layer. These modes share the same team and player foundation, but their progression goals are different: one develops an organization, while the other develops an individual career.
Share the field locally
The North American Wii release supports one to four offline players, including competitive and cooperative local play documented for this version.
