About the Game
Tommy Angelo is an ordinary taxi driver trying to make a living on the streets of Lost Heaven until a chance encounter changes his life forever. One day, two men jump into his cab and order him to drive as fast as he can. Bullets begin striking the vehicle as a car full of armed pursuers closes in. Narrowly escaping death, Tommy follows the men’s directions and delivers them to a bar of their choosing.

Impressed by his driving skills, the men pay Tommy and offer him work with the mafia. Mafia is an action and driving game set during the 1930s in Lost Heaven, a fictional American city inspired by major cities such as New York and Chicago . Similar to the Grand Theft Auto series , the game allows players to roam a large city either on foot or by vehicle while completing missions that advance the story. Missions often involve driving to various locations, taking part in car chases, and competing in a race, though many are structured as fairly large, lengthy third-person shooter levels. players can drive more than sixty period vehicles, each with distinct handling and varying degrees of damage modeling.
