About the Game
Rugby 2005 is the first update to EA Sports' rugby franchise. The game is now powered by EA's FIFA engine. Features include overhauled gameplay, motion captured animation, crowd chants for major stadiums, and unique heads for famous players. The BBC's Ian Robertson and former All Black Murray Mexted provide commentary.
Gameplay & Core Systems
Mexted also guides players through extensive interactive training drills. Rugby 2005 includes up to date listings for all the major international teams, plus options to edit squads and create new players. Players can compete in tournaments such as the 6 Nations, Tri Nations, Super 12 and European Trophy championships.

Player support includes Same/Split-Screen, Free-for-all / One-on-one (VS), and Team.
Presentation & Atmosphere
Display support includes Progressive Scan (480p) and Widescreen (16 x 9). Audio support includes Dolby Pro Logic II.
