Battlefield Hardline on PlayStation 3
Online service update: EA ended Battlefield Hardline online services on PlayStation 3 on November 7, 2024. Online multiplayer is no longer available on this platform. This listing focuses on the physical game and its single-player campaign.
Mendoza's Crime Drama
Battlefield Hardline follows Nick Mendoza, a new detective in Miami, as he and veteran partner Khai Minh Dao investigate a drug supply chain. Its ten-episode campaign uses the structure of a television crime drama, with a larger story about corruption, trust, and revenge.
Arrests, Evidence & Stealth
Mendoza can investigate instead of treating every encounter as a firefight. Use the Scanner to identify evidence and tag suspects, then approach wanted criminals carefully. Flashing a badge can make surprised suspects surrender; keeping control of the situation matters until the arrest is complete.
- Collect evidence to develop Case Files and uncover more of the story.
- Identify suspects with open warrants and take them alive to gain campaign progression.
- Use distractions and watch enemy awareness to make a quieter approach.
Historical Online Modes
Hotwire, Heist, Blood Money, and the other online team modes were part of the original game's multiplayer offering. Those modes and their online progression are retired on this console. Original packaging may still advertise them, so the service closure above matters when choosing a copy today.
Physical-Copy Details
Choose the condition option for the PlayStation 3 copy and packaging you want. Check the selected variant's name and product photos for its physical contents. Original DLC, bonus items, and usable digital redemption codes are not guaranteed unless the copy details explicitly establish them.
