About the Game
Manhunt 2 is a single-player psychological stealth game centered on Daniel Lamb, a former scientist who escapes the Dixmor asylum during a power failure. Daniel’s fractured memory and his relationship with fellow inmate Leo Kasper drive a story about the Pickman Project, the people behind it and the violence that follows their escape. The game is separate from the first Manhunt’s plot, with new characters and locations ranging from institutional corridors to streets, clubs and industrial spaces.
Stealth & Combat
Most encounters reward patience. Daniel can watch enemy awareness, move through shadows, create distractions and approach isolated hunters without starting a direct fight. Environmental objects serve as improvised weapons, and context-sensitive executions vary according to position and how long an attack is prepared. Later stages add firearms and cover-based shooting, but ammunition and exposure make a careful route valuable. Light puzzles and environmental interaction break up the pursuit sequences while documents and recovered memories gradually explain the experiment.
Wii Controls & Scope
The Wii edition uses the Wii Remote and Nunchuk for movement, aiming and gesture-based actions. Its controls ask the player to perform directed motions during certain close-range sequences, giving this version a distinct physical interface while preserving the same stealth-first structure. Manhunt 2 is an offline one-player experience with no multiplayer or current network requirement. Rockstar London and Rockstar Toronto are credited with development of this Wii release, published by Rockstar Games in North America on October 30, 2007. The ESRB rates it M for Mature.
