The Daring Game for Girls | Nintendo Wii

Settling into the Neighborhood

The Daring Game for Girls brings the active, curious spirit of the popular book, The Daring Book for Girls, onto the Nintendo Wii. Published by Majesco Entertainment Company and developed by WXP Games, LLC., this single-player release is framed around exploration, practical neighborhood projects, and active mini-games.

In this adventure, the player takes on the role of a young girl who has just moved into a new neighborhood. Arriving as a newcomer, she steps outside to discover her surroundings, get acquainted with the local community, and make new friends along the way.

Three Distinct Grounds to Explore

Exploration unfolds from a third-person perspective across three core environments: the local neighborhood streets, a bustling schoolyard, and an outdoor campground. Each location presents opportunities to interact with the environment and connect with other kids through shared pastimes.

A central part of day-to-day life involves hands-on tasks and creative projects. Players can build crafts, tend a garden, and join in various mini-games with other kids throughout the grounds.

Entrepreneurship and Achievement

Beyond leisure and crafts, players can also show off their business savvy by running their own neighborhood venture. You can operate a lemonade stand to sell your wares to neighbors, balancing commercial effort with outdoor recreation.

The overarching goal of the game is to collect Essential Gear and earn achievement Badges. These badges serve as milestones for your skills, accomplishments, and resourcefulness as you settle into town.

Wii Controls and Accessibility

Gameplay is designed around the Nintendo Wii setup, utilizing the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers for responsive, tactile handling. Supplied on a Wii Optical Disc, the title is structured for 1 player offline, earning an ESRB Everyone rating suitable for general audiences.
