Global Skill Contests Across Six Continents
World Party Games is an action collection of 12 skill games scattered over all of the world's six continents. Developed by Nurogames GmbH and published by Tivola Publishing GmbH, the title also carries the alternate German title Play the World. Presented in a first-person perspective, this action release frames every contest as an active global tour. Rather than sticking to standard parlor games, each regional event delivers a colorful test of coordination rooted in creative continental themes, sending players on an eccentric worldwide journey.
Diverse Mini-Games and Motion Controls
The gameplay is varied, featuring rhythm games, food fights and races among others across the world's distinct regions. Players dive into thematic regional activities such as a rain dance in the savannahs of Africa, seal curling in Antarctica, or a noodle duel with aggressive ninjas in Asia. Each individual challenge demands quick reflexes and focused timing to outmaneuver rivals. The entire package is controlled with the Wii remote and Nunchuk. In addition, some games can be controlled with the Wii Balance Board. Incorporating the balance board introduces dedicated physical balance techniques, changing up movement styles across select mini-game categories.
Solo Play, Four-Player Matchups, and Unlocks
The game can be played either alone or in multiplayer for up to four people. In single-player mode, you can master each minigame's unique timing and control nuances at your own pace. Bringing along friends transforms each regional circuit into a competitive group showcase where players vie for dominance across the diverse continental attractions. Scoring determines long-term progress across every session. The players that manage to collect the most points, win medals and unlock new games and costumes for their characters. Piling up high scores and earning medals ensures steady incentives, expanding the roster of available challenges while providing cosmetic variety for competing avatars.
