Destruction Derby 2 | PlayStation 1 | PS1

About the Game

Destruction Derby 2 is the sequel to the original Destruction Derby , which offers more of the same no-holds-barred action and mayhem with new tracks and a lot of technical improvements and features not seen in the original, such as longer tracks and a pit stop feature that allows car repairs! At its core, the gameplay is identical to its predecessor -- the objective consists of gaining points by winning races or "creatively" crashing opponents and climbing to the top of the rankings. There are 3 game modes: Wrecking Racin', Stock Car Race and Destruction Derby.

Story & Setting

Wrecking Racin' takes place on the circuit tracks with added points for wrecking the opponents' cars. Destruction Derby takes place in the bowl tracks where you need to inflict as much damage to other cars and with your car surviving for as long as possible.

Gameplay & Core Systems

Stock Car Racing is just circuit track racing and get to the finish line. The game is single player only, the multiplayer mode via PlayStation link-cable or DOS serial cable was dropped in this sequel.

Modes & Ways to Play

The tracks are listed with real world locations in the USA, even though the tracks are fictional and not modelled after any real world tracks.

Player support includes 1 Player.
