About the Game
Hotshot Racing is a racing game that was made as an homage to classic arcade racers, such as Virtua Racing or Ridge Racer . The gameplay heavily relies on drifting, as that's how players gain boost energy and overtake sharp turns.
Gameplay & Core Systems
Single Race mode itself has four game modes: Arcade (ordinary races), Cops and Robbers (where cops try to catch robbers and robbers try to get away with money), Drive Or Explode (driving at maximum speed in order to stay alive while overtaking rivals) and Barrel Barrage (trying to eliminate rivals with explosive barrels and stay alive). After winning races, players are awarded with money. Players can spend money to customise their characters or vehicles, however, customisation options are purely cosmetic and don't affect cars' stats.
Modes & Ways to Play
The game has several game modes: Grand Prix, Single Race, Time Trial, Online and Local Wireless.
