Minute to Win It puts you on the stage of the high-stakes television game show, challenging contestants to complete unusual tasks using common items within 60 seconds. Whether balancing everyday household objects or testing your hand-eye coordination under pressure, every micro-event pushes your reflexes to the limit. One such challenge tasks you to bounce 7 pencils into cups using the eraser end. The DS version features 36 challenges, using the controls, stylus, and microphone to recreate the tension of the studio floor directly on your handheld screens.

Contestant Progression and High-Stakes Risks

You can play through a regular show across ten included episodes. In a broadcast run, you face a sequence of games where you must decide after each challenge whether to take your winnings and go home, or risk it all on the next challenge. To give you some breathing room under the harsh spotlight, contestants have three "lives", so the first failure won't doom them immediately. Complete 10 challenges, and they leave with one million dollars. However, pushing your luck comes with serious consequences: if you fail all your lives, you go home with the last milestone amount reached, with the only milestone included set at $50,000.

Practice, Time Trials, and Head-to-Head Multiplayer

To master tricky techniques before risking your purse in the main tournament, you can practice challenges, though you can only pick ones you've seen already. Competitive solo players can also tackle Time Trial mode to beat your score on one of three difficulty levels, refining precision across diverse control inputs. As you rack up cash from successful runs, you can use the winnings to purchase new outfits for your character to customize your stage look. When you want to settle rivalries directly, a 2-player multiplayer mode is also included where each player selects 5 challenges, and the first player to complete each challenge wins the challenge.
