Return to Kanto with Eevee

Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! revisits the Kanto region as a welcoming Nintendo Switch role-playing adventure. Eevee travels at your side while you explore towns, routes, caves, and Pokémon Gyms on the way to challenging the Pokémon League. Familiar faces such as Brock, Misty, and Team Rocket return, but the presentation and catching system are built around the Switch.

Catch, Train, and Battle

Wild Pokémon appear directly in the environment instead of arriving through random encounters. In TV and tabletop play, you can use a Joy-Con to time a Poké Ball throw; Handheld Mode supports button controls. Captures provide experience and resources for strengthening your team, while battles against Trainers and Gym Leaders retain turn-based moves, elemental types, status effects, and party strategy. Eevee’s bond with the Trainer grows through the journey, and both the partner Pokémon and Trainer can be customized with outfits.

Play Together and Connect

A second player can join the same-system adventure using another controller. Two players can also battle or trade through local wireless, while online battles and trades require a Nintendo Switch Online membership. The GO Park feature can receive compatible Kanto-region Pokémon transferred from Pokémon GO. Poké Ball Plus is an optional controller that can also carry a Pokémon on a walk for in-game rewards; standard Joy-Con and Handheld controls remain supported.

North American Physical Edition

This North American standard edition was released on November 16, 2018, on a Nintendo Switch Game Card. It was developed by GAME FREAK and published by Nintendo. The ESRB rates it E for Everyone with Mild Cartoon Violence and the Users Interact notice. Nintendo currently lists the game as supported on Nintendo Switch 2 with behavior consistent with Nintendo Switch. Single-system play supports one or two players, while local-wireless and online sessions support two.
