Rage Wars for N64 may be dedicated to multiplayer mayhem, but the Game Boy Color version is strictly for maverick maulers. Turok's latest quest takes him to four different planets crawling with Bionosaurs and Dinosoids bent on destroying the Earth. As usual, Turok employs a wide variety of prehistoric and futuristic weapons to turn his enemies into fertilizer. Unlike the previous two Turok games for Game Boy Color, Rage Wars breaks away from typical side-scrolling gameplay. Thanks to simulated 3D motion, Turok is able to move more freely within the environments. This helps to make the enemies more difficult to defeat, and gives the game a fresh look. Even though players have to solve switch-based puzzles throughout the game, the bulk of the action is all about hacking and slashing your way through armies of mutated dinosaurs. Turok: Rage Wars is compatible only with Game Boy Color. It cannot be played on Game Boy pocket or classic Game Boy.
