WWE Day of Reckoning is a wrestling game that uses the World Wrestling Entertainment license. The game incorporates gameplay elements from WWE WrestleMania XIX and builds upon them, while introducing new features. The game offers new character models and graphics for the WWE superstars, including custom face-shaping.
Gameplay & Core Systems
Traditional wrestling moves as well as trademark moves and finishers of WWE superstars are simulated. Among the new features are the ability to reverse any moves and a momentum meter. The momentum meter can let the wrestler gain a last second comeback. It will also let smaller characters build up their momentum to execute lift moves on bigger characters. The game feature a story mode where players starts off taking a character through minor shows like Heat and Velocity.
